We are here to help children, young people and their families! Achieve Africa is a non-profit charitable organisation established for the support of children and young people. We are drawn to support families facing the challenges of disability or who are disadvantaged in South East Nigeria and the surrounding areas, in particular, but not exclusively; by providing financial support and grants to assist in the provision of domiciliary, educational, health equipment and facilities.

Fund Raising for African Nursery Children (FRANC)

As a charity, the education and well-being of African children is at the heart of our mission. We are continually engaged in educational and health projects, ranging from building structures to campaigns and awareness programmes and lobbying for the basic rights of children in Nigeria.

Skills Acquisition for the Youth – (SAY)

Youth unemployment in Nigeria is one of the highest in the world, with a current rate of 27.1%. Part of the reason being that Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa with the largest population of youth in the world; we are talking, in estimation, about 35 million youth. We can choose to see this as a challenge or some potential human resources for the world.

In reality, however, without access to skills training, people are trapped in a cycle of unemployment and poverty. Join Achieve Africa and be on the hopeful side of turning the latent skills of young people into creative innovations.

Green environment, Rural preservation, Organic productivity and Well-being (G-R-O-W)

Achieve Africa is having a great plan of action towards investing in some basic agricultural products like cassava, poultry and fishery farms across South East Nigeria.

Backyard poultry production has always been a major contributor to family nutrition in Nigeria, where women own more than 90 percent of village production of eggs and poultry meat. While we advocate for education for every girl child, empowering women in their local farm skills will contribute, largely, in household economy for the health and education of children in the family.

Making a Difference

In small ways, from small beginnings, Achieve Africa is getting the rudiments of support off the ground in some areas of South Eastern Nigeria. In the very words of Anthony Lake, Executive Director, UNICEF,

“Every child has the right to the quiet blessing of a normal childhood, free from violence – and every society has a stake in protecting its youngest members. For a generation of children who grow up protected and cherished are not only more likely to lead  healthy, fulfilling lives. They are more likely, more able and more willing to assume the responsibility of guiding their societies – and thus, our shared world – in the paths of progress.”

Our Philosophy

Our aim is to improve the quality of life for young children and their families.  The children we help could be disadvantaged socially, physically, emotionally or as a result of extreme poverty or illness

As a charity, the education and well-being of African children is at the heart of our mission. We are continually engaged in varying educational and health projects, ranging from building structures to campaigns and awareness programmes and lobbying for the basic rights of children in Nigeria.
